Hi <BR><BR>Does anyone know where I can get answers to the whole of the Osborne workbook for PCR and PEV? My tutor is supposed to print us off copies, but we still don't have them and I have to do revision! I so annoyed. Partly because I can't get variances into my head! <BR><BR>thanks <BR>heidi

    Sent!<BR><BR>Variances are my biggest issue at the moment. My tutor gave us a chart to help us remember how to work them out though. I can scan that and email it to you as well if you like. It has my scribblings on it though!<BR><BR>Lynsey

    Hi<BR><BR>I'm struggling to remember these. I thought I had it fixed in my head remembering the acronym PAUS - <BR>Price variances are based on <BR>Actual amounts used and <BR>Usage variances are based on <BR>Standard costs.<BR><BR>Decided to start this unit again from scratch and everything seemed to make sense until I sat down on Saturday morning and attempted simple examples from the book - Aaaaaargh!<BR><BR>I know from experience that overheads are a completely different kettle of fish.<BR><BR>Would be very grateful if I could also see a copy of your chart please.<BR><BR>fiona@familybell.freeserve.co.uk<BR>

    That would be great - thanks very much. Actually don't feel as bad on direct cost variances now but having problems remembering the overhead ones. I know that some should add up to others. Any help you can offer would be gratefully accepted.
