Hi Everyone

I am due to sit the final exams in June. The problem being that for the last couple of months I have suffered illness and personal problems therefore college and studying has been put on the back burner. I have done my 1st draft of my MAS project and am halfway through correcting it. But I am concerned as I have missed numerous lessons over the last few weeks for the other units and haven't even been able to look at my books. It's like my brain has erased everything from my memory that I have learnt so far.

I am so worried that I have such little time between now and the exams that I will fail miserably.

Does anybody know if it is possible to sit the exams in December instead or if you can only do that if you fail in June. I would rather not sit the exams until I am fully confident.

Thanks

Emma

    Hi Emma.

You can sit the exams in December if you wish. If you've already paid for the June sitting you could always use that as a practise run - if you pass then you won't have to sit them in December.

Do the past papers off here to see where your weaknesses/ strengths are, so you know which bits need more revision.

Most importantly - STOP WORRYING!

Scott.

    Thanks Scott.

I'm just a born worrier and am getting myself in a panic.

I have paid for the June exams so I will just give them my best shot. Then like you say if I pass then I won't have to worry. If I don't there is always December.

Try the little "Pocket Notes" range of books for the units you are sitting. I got mine from Financial Training (web site www.financial-training.com). They cost £6 each with no post & packing. They arrive in a copy of days and are really clear and have good examples! I've found the Business Tax Compurtations one really helpful.

Good luck to all!
