Hi all - I use excel for my everyday work. Regarding payroll i have devised spreadsheet that uses formulas to calculate the net pay ect. What other programs will enable me to do this (Sage ?). Anyway i wonder if someone could let me know of the following figures from a gross pay of £350. - Income tax, Employee cic, net pay & employer nic. This is just a check to see if the formulas are correct.<BR>Thanks

    Any payroll program will tell you.<BR><BR>To work out the tax and ni on £350 you would also need the following information<BR><BR>Is 350 weekly, monthly, fortnightly, four weekly<BR>What is the employees Tax Code<BR>What is the Gross pay to date<BR>What is the Tax pay to date<BR>What week would you like this processing?<BR><BR>If you can provide the above information then this can be worked out.<BR><BR>Amanda

    Sorry about that - £350 is weekly, Tax code is 489L (4,895), Gross pay to date week end 20 May - £2,457, Income tax to date is £361.83, This would be for this week ending 27 May.<BR>Thanks
