Unit 17: Audit

Is or has anyone done the Audit unit?<BR>I am taking my last 2 papers in June (BTC & PCR) but I am studying this unit at home through BPP, in order to get onto the fast track CIPFA course.<BR>At the moment I am reading through the text book provided and doing the activities.<BR>I just wondered if anyone had found an easier way to study/revise this unit as it's not the most exciting.<BR>Thanks<BR>

    I have just sat this paper & found it very sraight forward.<BR>It really was just stating which controls were in place & if any weaknesses, what controls would you put in place. there were a couple of questions on how you would deal with a certain situation and how important confidentiality was. You also had to know what an unqualified audit report was. I really think the book goes way over the top & is far too wordy. If you can get some examples of passed papers, I think you would be better looking at those. We did quite a few in class & they were all very similar.<BR><BR>Hope this helps
