Hi Guys,<BR><BR>I am due to be made redundant from my current position at the end of June (due to office closure). This is a non-accounting positon, but this has given me the shove to find a job in the accounting industry.<BR><BR>Please can I ask any of you who know about suitable posts for an AAT Foundation student (exam in June05) in Manchester area to let me know - I would be very greatful.<BR><BR>My CV is available on request.<BR><BR>Thanks for your help,<BR>Mark.

    Personally if I was you, I'd join one of the accountancy type recruitment agencies, they'll then at least do the work for you for at least the next couple of weeks to give you an idea of the level of job you should be looking at.<BR><BR><BR>

    As far as I've seen most firms would ask more than just foundation. It might be an idea to try for a company that tends to employe people to train them straight up (such as pricewaterhouse coopers etc)

    Would temping for 12 months be ok - or do you recon I'd have the same sort of problem?
