Hello Everyone<BR><BR>I really need some help and tips on remembering the account standards i just carnt get my head round them all and i am running out of time?<BR><BR>If any one can help i would really appreciate it ;o)<BR><BR>Many Thanks<BR><BR>Alana

    <BR>Concentrate on learning the content of the FRS' so you can say<BR><BR>'The accounting policy for stock states...'<BR>And you will get away without putting a number!<BR>

    FRS AND SSAP'S

    For my exam in December, I wrote down all the FRS and SSAP's on pieces of squared paper. One side showing the number and the other side showing the definition. I put all these in a bag and pulled them out one by one. If I got the definition side then I would have to guess the relevant number and vice versa. I become pretty good at this, though I was still getting a couple of items wrong. I then managed to learn in order what the FRS and SSAP's were, and I was rewarded in my exam when I only had to quote about three things (!) Oh well I managed to pass.<BR><BR>I also did the same concept with the formulaes and definition of an asset/liability etc etc. e.g One Side - Acid Test Ratio, Other Side - Current Assets less Stock Over Current Liabilities.<BR><BR>Hope this helps.

    Thanx guys ill give it a go only got the wkend to learn some but hopefully as they are so close to the exam they will stick!! Anything is worth a try!<BR><BR>Just have to cross my fingers last exam 2??<BR><BR>Cheers again<BR><BR>kate x
