You need to look at the portfolio record sheets (they will give you an idea).

I hated doing the portfolio at foundation, it seemed like you needed documents such as:
- memo (does anyone uses memos?)
- emails
- faxes

Is their any particular section you're having trouble with? Personal effectiveness? Health & safety?0 -

Hi Claudia

When you register with AAT you should receive an information pack, along with a student record card in which you build up your portfolio using examples. The student record card will lay out the criteria you need to show and then you show examples of your competance.

If you have not registered, if you type in under the AAT site search engine 'student record', you can download the level you want.

Hope this helps.

0 -

And also I don't use memos, I don't write e-mails to customers. So how to provide these things? How to prove, that I am using security? Is it enough to make a print screen?

No, no section. It's just general question. Actually when I'll go through portfolio again, to check everything, maybe I'll find something I need help with. On the evidence part, just make it up. Yeah it's stupid, but as long as you have that evidence it'll be signed off as complete. I did it last year, I had 50% work related and 50% made up. I never use memo's so I did a couple (use the office templates) and made up a scenario. Maybe your college has a case study you can answer which will cover part of the syllabus (record cards specification).

On the security part, just write a couple of paragraphs about data protection, computer misuse etc. Maybe something to do with, "wage records will be kept in locked filing cabinets and not left openly on desks etc."

0 -
