Process Costing again!!

Hi<BR><BR>Our tutor has taught us nothing about Process Costing!! Its only by reading the talk here that i have found out about it!! I have looked at the chapter but at this stage its too much to grasp and too late to learn something new. Am keeping fingers crossed we dont get it!! But am still a bit worried. What do you think??<BR>Thanks

    Process Costing again!!

    I have been told that there is a chance that the June exam will contain process costing. If I were you start looking at it even if its brief.<BR><BR>You are likely to be asked to work out normal loss, gains and equivalent units.<BR>

    Process Costing again!!

    Our tutor has also said that it will probably crop up in the exam next week, although no one knows for sure I suppose. <BR><BR>My tutor has said that it will probably only go as far as abnormall gains/losses and won't probably go as far as scrap but said to revise it anyway. It's quite difficult to revise as there are no past papers which contain a process costing question so we are going in a bit blind I suppose. <BR><BR>I am hoping if there is a question that it will be well worded.

    Process Costing again!!

    Solbury, keeping your finger cross is not enough. You have done so much to cover everything you need. Try, absorbe something from the process costing and move ahead. <BR><BR>Process costing is just about Input, Output, normal loss, abnormal loss and abnormal gain.<BR><BR>try put process account right even if you cannot do the others.<BR>Goodluck

    Process Costing again!!

    it's not very likely for it to be examined ingreat depth on the june 05 exam, my tutor went to a conference with the chief examiner and got hints and tips for the exam as to what was ikely to be tested and process costing was one of the things he suggested would be examined possibly in dec 05 so i wouldn't worry about it too much

    It seem that different tutors have various opinions. Best to know a little bit than none.

    Process Costing again!!

    HELP!!!<BR>I have left my Osborne book at work and I don't know a thing about process costing!<BR>Can anyone give me a brief definition and any other notes you think may help? <BR>Our tutor said we may get a small question regarding process costing and to just know basics.<BR>Please can you help me???!!!
