Distractions while trying to study

I'm quite lucky as my company gives me lots of study leave. Today I've been really geared to studying, but I'm finding it impossible to concentrate as some neighbours are having new windows fitted and the fitters are blasting out "Dad music" from their van stereo. I'm about to go outside and throw my big heavy BPP book at them!<BR><BR>Anyone else having concentration issues?

    hi, <BR>i havent the joy of study leave as am self employed, work in retail, if i wasnt here, shop not open. am on my own. trying to study, but distracted via phone and customers, ( not paying ones tho:-( <BR> am trying to do a business tax exam and boy am i struggling. i keep forgetting to put things in from previous questions, doing the shares a nightmare, forget where you have got to.<BR>i would do as the other one suggested and go to the nearest library. wish i could<BR><BR>good luck<BR>xx

    Well I would, except my local library doesn't have desks. The only seating area is a bunch of bean bags in the kids area.

    just realised other message was from sandy, hi sandy, wish you would do btc and dfs as well as costing. you were invaluable to me in december ( i passed pev and pcr, and you helped :-( <BR><BR>could do with help now.<BR>

    Wish I had study leave, I am at work and being distracted by everything. Well still have the weekend to go. Thanks for everyone's help, I have had quite a few good suggestions from here. Should have logged on last year, but passed. Good luck to everyone.

    Isn't it fun how all those mundane things that you have to do on a regular basis are now so appealing!!!<BR><BR>I'll never say I hate cleaning, ironing, going to work............ever again!<BR><BR>Well good luck to all, thanks to everyone who asked the same questions as I was thinking and to those who awnsered the rest.<BR><BR>But remember: There is such a thing as "too much revision" and "If at 1st you don't suceed - go and put the kettle on!!!"<BR><BR>

    Its 2 days to go, and quite honestly if we dont know it by now I think its unlikely. I have worked hard all year I am going to do 3 hours tomorrow and 2 hours on Sunday and then enjoy Sunday afternoon doing something else to clear my mind and then hope for the best!
