Hve a look at the other forums just below and there is loads of stuff on how people have calculated their figures. I think every answer has been covered.0 -

i kept the fixed costs the same but for the variable costs i divided them by 1,000,000 ( i think that it is the right amount of 00000000,0000,'s!) then multiplied them by the 1,500,000 and 2,000,000!

what did you do?

I remember that my cost per unit decreased which is expected as the fixed costs will remain the same!!0 -

The fixed costs remain constant, so there's no change on these at all. It's the variable costs that need amending. For 1.5million, you just add on half as much again based on the variable costs for 1 million. For 2 million, just double the figures for variable costs based on the 1 million figures.

The cost per unit comes down in each case, though I cant remember what they were. Maybe £21 something and £18 something.0 -

yeah did the same divided by 1000000000000000000000000000000 then x by 1500000000000000000000000000000000000
i'm sure it was that many 000000000000000000000000000000s!

totally got stumped on the one part of the question using limiting factors. when it asked for total contribution once you had alloaced the available hours to the two product. ow did everyone work out the new total contribution.

not one person inmy exam did i the same!0
