Heres my challenge, the first lecturer to post their answers to the PEV exam we've sat today and give us their honest opinions on this forum. It would be interesting to us disgruntled students to know that the paper was fair/unfair in a lecturers opinion and also what their answer is to Task 2.2.<BR><BR>Also AAT feel free to take up the challenge and put some of us out of our misery by letting us know some answers especially to Task 2.2, should we have sub contracted to chime or not? A simple yes because or no because would be fine!<BR><BR>I'm sure ther are a few students out there who agree with me and would like to see this?? (this is where fellow students post their support, consider this a petition for signatures, get posting your replies).

    Yes, I agree. <BR><BR>But I have to add I failed back in December and my heart literally sank when I saw section 2 back then, this time around, it was prepared (my heart that is, maybe not my skills)<BR><BR>I thought there was an awful lot in Part 1 which I passed last Dec, but Section 2, was very amigious and I am not sure how I did. <BR><BR>Claire

    Good luck mate but it aint gonna happen.... Bit like askin. a ManU fan to come to Anfield and say why Liverpool shouldn't be European Champions. He'd get lynched.

    Ay up, i would certainly like to see the opinion of some lecturers, as those of you who were with me today heard, I set my lecturer the challenge to do the paper before I see her again on wednesday, if looks could kill, i wouldn't be revising DFS now. Can't wait till the exam results.

    Section 2 question 2.2 was difficult I,m hoping the AAT will hear, listen & pay attention to the feedback from students. It would be a real pity if students failed just because of one ambigous question at the end of a lengthy & very time consuming paper.

    There's our answer then:<BR>Lofty, if your lecturer does do the exam, do you think it would be possible to steal his/her answers and post them on here?<BR><BR>I am curious to see what answers a lecturer would suggest, but I can't see anyone from the AAT giving that out yet.

    Ay up, sorry to disappoint you, but even though our lecturer is helpful, unless its about tax!, I think the probability of her not doing it is about the same as everyone passing the exam! Would like to think some lecturers would take the time to do it!

    Task 2.2 was ridiculous - you don't get asked to write a full report in an exam! And besides, they got their gross profits and net profits mixed up in the whole of Section 2, didn't they?<BR><BR>Turnover<BR>(Direct Costs)<BR>___________<BR>Contribution<BR>(Overheads)<BR>___________<BR>Net (not Gross as they wrote in the paper) Profit<BR>==========<BR><BR>Right? Or not...?
