ECR Exam Apportionment

Ive looked for a message on this and couldnt find one, In the exam on the section where we had to allocate and apportion what did everyone do for the indirect labour? allocate them as they were? thats what i presumed but i got worried by the figures for employee, should i have used that instead?

    I allocated them as they were on the question as they added up to the total figure - I think that the no of employees may have been there to thorw you, bit pointless putting it in I thought.

    i allocated them as shown on the paper as you did. what did you do with the direct assembly costs? allocate or apportion?

    they just put empoyees in to mess up our heads.

    I allocated the assembly costs straight to assembly<BR><BR>One i definately messed up was the labour i counted the over time hours as additional hours on top of the basic hours but with the premiums :/

    I allocated them into the table - At first thought not to put them in as it said they were direct costs but put them as otherwise it I didn't balance - I just allocated them in whole to assembly, everyone else who I spoke to did the same.<BR><BR>I think as a whole the paper was badly worded

    i think i did this too! I did normal hours x rate <BR>then did over time hours x time and a half and then overtime hours x double<BR><BR>

    Yeah i did this too. As for the assemble costs, I allocated them just to assembly department as they don't relate to any others.
