Dont seem to be taking anything in!! <BR>Looking at FRS's and SSAP's theres just too many to remember let alone define what they are and apply them!!

    ANY ADVICE!!

    Have a quick look in the assesments section under exam tips and then detailed examination guidelines for DFS and this will help to show you which are the improtaint ones. I am just concentrating on those now.<BR><BR>Good Luck for tommorrow xx

    don't panic. You probably know a lot more than you think! <BR><BR>If you are ok with the calculation questions then the questions about standards ususally have something to do with the question you have just answered. Just keep it simple if you can't remember all of the jargon, bullet points if all else fails!

    Tough!<BR><BR>There is no other way to describe it. I have put in all the hours that I can but I really do not fell ready at all. All I can do now is go over a few last minute points and then try and stay calm on the day and do the best that I can.<BR><BR>I desperatly want to start ACCA in time for the December sitting and I think that is making these exams seem all the more improtaint. Before I always had the oh well i can resit with the others attitude but this time it means putting my life on hold for an extra 6 months if i fail. Whats more I am one of the lucky (?) people who has never failed any exams before and as much as i don't want to start now, I have never had to work this hard for anything before in my life but sadly don't know if that is enough!<BR><BR>Hum, that turned into quite a rant, sorry! <BR><BR>Good Luck everyone.

    I'm in exactly the same boat - hoping to start CIMA in September and need these exams to do it!<BR><BR>Had Business tax this morning and made at least 4 really silly errors (that I can think of) - you know the ones - the minute you leave the exam hall you think "aaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.... that was WRONG!!"<BR><BR>So it's DFS left and then an agonising 9 week wait until the results.<BR><BR>As for these flippin' FRSs and SSAPs, I'm going for the "try not to worry too much about the exact description and number and fudge my way through what I think is right"<BR><BR>Oh, we were advised to swot up on the DFS article posted in the magazine a couple of months ago about "what makes financial information useful" as our tutor put it "if the examiner publishes an article like that 6 weeks before the exams it's because he wants you to look at it!!"<BR><BR>Good luck all!<BR><BR>em

    Tough!!!<BR><BR>That doesn't make me feel better.<BR>I to have passed them all first time......up to now!!!!<BR>Don't know if i have the concentration and drive to do anymore been looking at ACCA but these exams are really putting me off!<BR><BR>Luck think im gona need a miracle!!<BR>:-)
