does anyone know the correct answer for 2.2<BR>is it all about stewardship ect<BR><BR>or about relibility consitancy ect<BR><BR>it seems the question holds alot of the marks for section2<BR><BR>i put it was about relibility consistancy ect<BR><BR>does this mean i have failed if it is wrong or will they see how i have described relibility ect and not penalise me totally!!!

    Did very similar to you and I think it was wrong - panicking about the result. I went on about understandability and stuff and put a one line in for stewardship. No very good english but hey ho.

No mark allocation is given, but I'd guess this carried less marks than 2.1, as there was less work involved.<BR><BR>The question was about the objective of financial statements - "to provide information about the reporting entityâ??s financial performance and position that is useful to a wide range of users for assessing the stewardship of the entityâ??s management and for making economic decisions."<BR><BR>In part (b) you should have identified the guy as a potential investor, and described how the financial statements could help him with an economic decision (i.e. to invest or not).<BR><BR>Best of luck if you have any exams left - don't dwell on this one now it's over! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>Andrew Harrington

    i said he would be a shareholder ( had enough by this question) i remember seeing he wanted to buy 'shares' hence the word shareholder came to mind. i did put in brackets or investor so maybe they will think i kinda knew what i was doing???
