can anyone tell me if you don't pass one of the exams, can you still enter for technician level and re-sit the exam you failed in november?

The Technician level tutor at our college told us that he wouldn't recommend starting Technician Level before passing both ECR and FRA. Although he said we could still get on the course in September, he recommended we re-sat any exams in December and started Technician in January, so the course would finish the following December instead of June time. It just stretches it out a bit. I think I'll be doing that because I don't think I've passed ECR! But it's really whether you feel you can cope with doing both at the same time.

Roz0 -

I found FRA pretty easy and straightforward, do you think I'd be able to cope with ECR and starting Technician together and sitting ECR plus first Tech exams in December then finishing Tech next June?

Tim0 -

Hi,

I personally couldn't do tech and also learn ecr, however if you have already been taught ecr and just need to sit the exam then yes you could probably do it. It also depends on what units you would be taking in tech.

I don't think i have passed ECR, however will still be doing tech in september s i know i only have to sit the exam again.

You never know they might bring the pass rate down on ECR and i will pass with flying colours. hehe

Shelley.0 -
