bad debt of 1490 was it a trick question? how did you do it?

    they are bloody evil the AAT, why did they put 4 lines?. i did it as normal but then debited and credit the accounts.

    I did the same as mel 1. As the question did not state "narrative not required" I assumed that one was needed.

    I also put these in my TB.<BR><BR>It did say in the TB to use all your answers from ALL previous task.. Which is what I did.<BR><BR>Andy

    I did as well, took it from the SLC and put in the bad debt expense

    I did the same with the Cr and DR but i took off the amount of 1490 from the 6300 of the SLCA and i was remained with a figure of something like 5010 which i put on the TB together with bad debt expense on the same side as SLCA.<BR>MY TB didnt balance<BR><BR>Elton

    Was your TB out by £4000. It's probably the vehicle introduced, Dr Vehicle Cr Capital. Your bad debt adjustment is correct.
