35, 000 - 12, 576 x 20 % = 4, 449<BR> this is wrong why?

    you needed to deduct the 2000 scrapped<BR><BR>35000-2000=33000- (12576-976)x20% = 4280

    I got 4280 also! at least that is one mark!! <BR><BR>I totally messed up the appropriation a/c!

    depreciation i got 4000 - 600 = 3400/4 =850, most of my class got this. You dont add or minus the accum as its straight line and not reducing balance

    Hello!<BR><BR>I think it was £850 in section 1, but in section 2 it was reducing balance and thats wen I got 4280??
