Do CIMA let you start studying even if you haven't quite finished the AAT Tech stage?

I have done really poo in all my exams this week but I was looking forward to starting CIMA in September - doesn't look likely now.

Hello - I checked this with my tutor's as I was convinced that I was gonna screw up Business Tax. As it turns out I messed up Finance!
Basically you can start your CIMA studies at the intermediate stage but you need a full AAT pass by the end of the year so as long as you pass December's resits you should be ok!

Herb (o_o)

So long as you're starting Cima at a college that does a year course ie start in Sept for May exams, and the college doesn't mind, you should be okay. Many colleges actually get you to study for exams twice a year, and you wouldn't be able to take Cima November exams at managerial level without your AAT passes, which includes the project etc. If you can afford to, it's better to register with Cima now so that if you have passed everything you can then enter the exams after all, as the timescale is quite short.
