I have just sat three exams in three days and I feel like my head is going to explode.

Monday had to be the worst ever. I did most of my revision time on this but it still wasn't enough. I felt physically sick before the exam and even worse after!!

How did other people get on with Business Tax, I was prepared for the 19% dividend question, but surprised we only had to do a memo on it.

DFS was a lot easier I felt. I had revised a lot of the theory, but the Statement of Gains & Losses threw me completely, I think I've not got any marks on that question.

Last one Friday is Personal tax, hopefully that will be a lot easier than what we have had so far, but I'm sure there will be a few nasty questions in there somewhere.

I found reading the chief assessors report from the Dec exams helpful. It can give a bit of an insight into what could be put on the paper again.

Good luck to all who have exams tomorrow and fellow students doing personal tax on Friday

Are the worst Exams over?
Todays DFS was my last exam. Fortunately I had not only gone through my notes and text book, highlighting the unfamiliar, and luckily STRGL and the share holder reconciliation was on my list of things to learn.

Less fortunately,I totally misread the question on the dividend and the answer will make the examiner wonder which planet I was on at the time. I put it down to the fact that the end was in sight and I just wanted to get finished and head for the door.

Good Luck for Friday - its a wonderful feeling when it is all behind you. Now trying to make friends with my husband - poor fella, I've been really prickly the past few weeks - surprised he is still here!0 -

Hi Alibear,

Glad I am not the only one who's family have suffered with my head stuck in a book. I have a pile of ironing that will take me a film trilogy to get through, but in some ways I am looking forward to it......it has to be less stressful. Still got one exam to go, roll on this time tomorrow0 -

Tigercat, Glad to hear you can get your life back now you've finished, good luck with the results. Three in December must have been hard work with planning for Christmas and 2 kids to contend with. I've got two girls but they are 18 & 15, amazing how they disappear when I mention washing up and Ironing - never mind it will all be there for me this weekend..along with a nice glass of wine.

Good luck and are you planning to continue your studies after this?0
