I just sat the PCR exam and was feeling very confident when i read that you was supposed to put opening and closing stock into the operating statement at the end of the production / material labour budget (2.2) this is the only thing i did not do everything else was correct - will this fail me?

    I thought this was the last question in Section 1 that you had to put the opening stock and closing stock in the operating profit statement.

    Yes I have been taught to flex the budget to actual sales which were 380.<BR><BR>That is the only way of getting a true comparison to the actual sales and calculating the variances

    I think the flex budget was 380 - actual sales right?<BR><BR>THe stepped cost was Γƒβ€šΓ‚Β£120 for every 100 so it should of been Γƒβ€šΓ‚Β£480,000 in the flex budget. i think!

    I used 5 day instead of 7. I know! How stupid of me, but i showed my working so hopefully i will pass, but i think i got the statement wrong too. <BR><BR>Plus the last question.<BR><BR>Oh and i used 380000 in stead of 420000 in the statement near then end. Really hope i pass, cos i know i've fail dfs and god knows about tax tomorrow. I hate all this stuff.
