Hi,
I'm considering starting to do books for sole traders and I was wondering if anyone else has done this before. I've just about completed my intermediate level. Would it be possible to give me some advice? I wish to know what services I can offer, what software I can use and general useful information.

Many Thanks in advance,

Higgsy

    Higgsy

AAT can provide guidance to student members about how best to offer self-employed services to the public and how to ensure you adhere to AAT's regulations. You can e-mail me at nicola.morris@aat.org.uk and I can mail you an information sheet. General information can be found on this page of the AAT's website http://www.aat.org.uk/students/selfemploy_intro.cfm?id=31

Best wishes

Nicola Morris

Higgsy,
If you want to start up a business you should contact your local business link who will give you advice on what is required to start up as a sole trader. If you go to http://www.businesslink.gov.uk and put your post code in it will show you your local business link.

Regards

Andrew
