Could you tell me if you pass one section of an exam, re-take the exam but only pass the one section you failed last time, is that taken into account.

I am not a tutor, but if you fail an exam once on just one section, your results are not taken into consideration when you take it again. IE you have to pass both parts of the same exam , however many times you take it.

    Hi.

Purplegirl is right - you have to pass both sections at the same time. If you are unsucessful on a section at least you know where your weak points are, and can concentrate your revision accordingly.

Scott.

But how do you know what you've failed on exactly?? Am I right in thinking you don't even find out how much you failed by let alone which sections or questions you got wrong??
I think it's stupid that we don't get grades of any kind, those people that pass with perfect papers are not distinguished in any way from those who only scrape through by the skin of their teeth. If I only just scrape through I think it's important to know by how much and everything I got wrong in order to know what to brush up on!

The only way to check is by going over the paper when it comes out, but by that time you have forgotten your answers. Apparently you can ask for feedback from the AAT, but it costs.
