<BR>I also had £9,000 more. However, in a bizarre moment of madness recommended they didn't go for it. My justification is probably making a marker laugh their socks off right now!0 -

I took the safest route and recommended that they do further investigations into the downward trend of the variable costs to see if this would be ongoing before they make a decision (Well it's not right or wrong)!!<BR><BR>Call me chicken I know. You must have done the same as me, replace the variable costs with the sub-contract costs, less the savings they mentioned, then take off the fixed costs.<BR><BR>Well I'm glad someone got the same figure as me anyway.<BR><BR>GOOD LUCK ALL0 -

i also got extra 9000 profit, but did not decide to sub-contract. I said the long term future had to be considered. Main reasons were the sub-contractors employing the production staff therefore they could increase prices in the future, also if they went into liquidation we would have no production staff.0
