Hi All<BR><BR>This is my first time on this forum, found it really useful so far. Wondered if I could ask for any advise. <BR><BR>I have completed foundation level and plan to complete the intermediate by June 2006. With no experience at all in accounts, do you think I will be able to get a job within an accounts office or as a ledger clerk fairly easily or do you think I will have problems with no accounting experience? <BR><BR>Thanks

    Its tough out there, but we all have to start somewhere. Depends on the company some are willing to train, and at least you have the background knowledge.<BR>Good luck.

    Hi,<BR><BR>I have just finished intermidiate and also had no experience, i signed up with all the agencies in my area, i have been temping in an accounts office for 3 weeks now and after the 2nd week i was offered a permenant job, which starts the beginning of August when my temp contract runs out. <BR><BR>I am only able to do tech in the evening though as they don't allow day release at the company, however they will pay for my course and books.<BR><BR>The best thing in my opnion is to temp first so you gets lots of different experience, you may find it hard to find an employer who will take you on perm and let you go back to college, however there are some out there.<BR><BR>Hope this helps.<BR><BR>Shelley.

    It's nice to hear your experience. I am doing intermediate level, have finished unit 5&6. I have started to look for a job from last week, signed with 2 agency so far, just wondering if it's really useful.From your experience, I will try to talk to more agency, hope I will be lucky.<BR><BR>I do think doing the job itself is not difficult, but make the employer believe it is diffcult.but anyway, there must be a job waiting me somewhere.
