And it seems many people are nervous about their results, I had one resit myself in PCR but I am not scared or excited. I haven't seen any nervous people in the technician forum, have we techs sort off just got used to it and can handle the pressure better now?

Signed up for the early result by email today, ACCA are trying to put pressure on to say I have to send them my Technician Certificate etc by End of August, but even that doesn't seem to matter to me. I probably need a holiday.

I think that Tech students are the most nervous because so much is riding on the results. At foundation and intermediate level you can still do tech and resit the others. When you're results depend on your going onto ACCA or CIMA the pressure and desire to pass is extreme.

Personnally I'm flipping out.
0 -

That's true, life is full of ups and downs. Best to work really hard to pass and leave the rest to God to take care off, if you are worrying think of it like this, you can't do anything about it now, it's too late, it's out of your control, just busy yourself with other matters, plan a holiday, take driving lessons, study another language, buy a really nice book or two and the time will fly past. August 16th will be here soon enough.0 -

I am also very very nervous about my results. I even went to the CIMA open day the other night and told them I would not be starting till next Feb. That is how certain I am that I have failed at least one of my three exams. I will be buying a magnum of champers if I pass. How gutted will I be though knowing it will be too late to start CIMA. It was a really tough decision to make, but I didn't want to start CIMA and then have to come off the course when I fail.
I agree that Techs have a lot more riding on these results. I have sailed through foundation and intermediate and like you say, it didn't really matter with them if you passed or failed. It just meant you had a little extra work to do with a re-sit. This time though I have to put my life on hold for 6 months. I am gutted, but even with that said. I know I did my best and I worked so so hard for these exams. I will try not to beat myself up about it too much.
Good Luck everyone.
Hope all your efforts are rewarded.0 -

I have to share my nerves, as once i've got over the pass or fail of the exams (including 1 resit!) on the 16th, my nerves will start all over again as i'm getting married on the 20th!!0 -

How many exams did you take Deblin, I took 4 in December and failed one and had to resit it in June. Not worried though, everyone else is though. Best to take not more than two exams each time, but as an international student for ACCA I will have to take a minimum of 3. Anyway congratulations on your proposed nuptials, fingers crossed that everything goes well on both days.0
