aca/acca exemptions

Could someone please outline the diffrences between the above exemptions.<BR>Who gives the better ones, and then how many exams are left to do.<BR>Thanks

    I know that ACCA is giving Full AAT qualified an exemption from level one, But I don't know anything about ACA

    and further to the previous reply it will leave you 6 exams in stage 2 and 5 in stage 3.<BR><BR>Annette

    Is that correct as i only received exemptions from 1.1 & 1.2 and had to sit 1.3. Maybe it's changed since i registered with ACCA some 3 years ago!

    <BR>There are 6 units in ACA Prof Stage. Doing AAT exempts you completely from Accounting and you have to do top up papers for tax and audit, leaving you with 3 complete ones - although if you're a graduate I think you're exempt from one of these as well.<BR><BR>Then you have your 3 Advanced stage exams.<BR>And you're done!

    Hi,<BR>I have just registered with ACCA but can only get excemptions from 1.1 and 1.2 because I completed AAT two years ago. The AAT have changed the syllabus a bit so ACCA will give excemptions for all of level 1 for students who have completed the new standards Technician.<BR>I am very excited and can`t wait to start. I have been reading an ACCA 1.3 text book for a while that I got of ebay so it will be good to start studying "proper",<BR><BR>Regards,<BR>Sarah
