ACCA seems harder than I thought

I don't know if anybody else thought the same, but I thought that if I failed a paper (PEV Probs) then I would still be able to study ACCA stage 2 at uni etc and sit the June 2006 papers. Apparantly when I spoke to them that is not the case. We need to complete all papers to be eligible, unless we sit papers at stage 1.
My main problem is even if I pass all papers next week, I still won't have my statement of acheivement for intermediate until September. I am only just about to hand in a project on I.T for level 3 today.
If anyone happens to know different and has more information, please let me know as I really don't want to waste another year.

If you pass all your exams and all your projects, ACCA have delayed when AAT students need to register for exemptions. However there is nothing stopping you registering now and then sending everything else when you get it. This is to take exams in Dec. If you're not taking them until June then you can start studying level 2 and put all your certificates etc in for exemptions later (I think it has to be done by the end of March) to take June exams.

So if you're not intending to take exams in December you don't need to panic about it yet.

Annette

    Hi

You can also gain exemption from paper 1.1 for having completed FRA and DFS and paper 1.2 for having passed ECR and PEV and MEV (or what ever the costing & budegting papers at technician are called this week!).

Neil
