ACCA - Exemptions

Hi<BR><BR>Can you please confirm something for me?<BR><BR>As far as I was aware we are exempt from Stage 1 - all 3 papers, if we have completed AAT.<BR><BR>My friend has just advised me that we still have to sit paper 1.3, business law...as this is not covered in AAT.<BR><BR>Can someone please confirm?<BR><BR>Many thanks<BR>Geraldine

    ACCA - Exemptions

    If completed AAT Tech on new standards then exempt from 1.1, 1,2 and 1.3.<BR>If completed under old standards then exempt from 1.1 and 1.2 only.<BR><BR>1.1 = Preparing Financial Statements<BR>1.2 = Financial Information for Management<BR>1.3 = Managing people<BR><BR>Helen

    Corporate & Business law is 2.1 not 1.3.
