CROYDON COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!!!
I studied at croydon college. I have passed all 3, but wouldn't recommend it as it was very stressful in the final year of technician as we had to do a lot on ourselves. If i had to resit my exams, i wouldn't have gone there back. As it is we are not full time studends and we go to work and have families. How can they expect us to do on our own. You expect them to teach and take you through the subject properly as you are paying for it.0 -
CROYDON COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!!!
Hi Resh,
Thanks for replying. I am begining to get nervous now. I gather from what you've just said that the lecturers are not supportive? However I have not yet registered. Looks like I have to give this a little bit more thought. Anyone out there that can give an opinion.
Thanks
lollypops0 -

Hi Lollipops
I'm new to forums so not sure if you will be alerted automatically to this post as your original post was say back in August last year.
I was wondering if you decided to go with BPP Croydon in the end. I am about to make my decision on which college to go with and BPP Croydon is good for me location wise, but would love to hear any comments from students who attended classroom based courses there.
Hope you get this message.

Re:CROYDON COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!!!
I reckon the best PEV and PCR classes in Croydon are run by a man called Sandy Hood
They are not at Croydon College or BPP. This man knows his subject and explains it brilliantly0 -

Re:CROYDON COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!!!
Hi,
I did go to croydon college in the end. I personally thought that the lecturers are good. we did have a few issues with one but after a quiet word, he changed his method of teaching wiht was very good. I would also like to mention that the other 2 lecturers are also very good and supportive. But that's my opinion. Some people might think different. With regards to the hard work, yes you have to put in the hard work yourself as that's the way to learn. I was told before i enrolled by the course director that it would be hard work and it takes a lot of dedication. My advice to anyone starting Tech Level should try (not always possible) to do a little at a time. And if you feel that you cannot do all the exams at once, space then out. Please let me know what you decide and if you want more info let me know.
The lecturer Sandy Hood does revision classes nearer exam times and he charges about £65 for the day. He is excellent and would recommend to anyone for PEV and PCR. I have been on his classes and he is also very supportive on this site.
good luck

Hi Lollipops
Thank so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate your comments and have decided to go ahead with BPP Croydon so I wait now for September so I can get started!
As like most people when starting out - I am full of motivation and determiniation to get though it all at record speed, beut I believe what you say about it being hard work and I'm sure I will be back on the forum looking for supoort over the next couple of years! Have you completed your AAT now?

Re:CROYDON COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!!!
Hi Junglegirl,
well done in making your choice. I also think that BPP taught courses and revision are good. I went on one of their revision classes for Unit 5 FRA as I was struggling and it did prove very helpful. If you can cope with the BPP textbooks then you are half way to passing your exams. Good Luck and let me know how you get on. I have 2 more exams to do this december PTC and DFS.
