hi everyone<BR>can anyone tell me is the jump from foundation to intermediate a large gap

    Hi Loris.<BR><BR>Unit 5 FRA is a continuation of trial balance, so should follow on nicely.<BR><BR>Unit 6 ECR - Costing - can be a bit involved but you should get the hang of it.<BR><BR>Unit 7 Reports and Returns - Reports, VAT returns - again you should get the hang of it.<BR><BR>You could print off past Intermediate papers from this site for a quick look, but don't panic that you don't understand them - you haven't done the course yet!<BR><BR>Scott.

    it all really does depend on a lot of things, whether you grasp new things well, are hard working and put the effort in, what unit you start learning first, the college and how they teach, whether you study day release or have to do evenings. Some people find it a big jump and others hardly notice a thing. <BR>I was chatting to a friend the other day and we agreed that the devolved assesments at intermadiate were the hardest thing we had to do, even worse than anything at technician so you just never know. <BR><BR>My advice would be, put the effort in and you get more out and feel more prepared at exam time. Some parts will come very naturally to you and some things may have to be learnt parrot fashion but if you have prepared well enough then you should be ok.

    hiya,<BR>if i was you dont look at the exam papers for imtermidiate, when i did it just really confused me and i thought there is no way that i am going to pass level 3, but really you will get the hang of it, like the others say unit 5 is the trail balance still, but it gets extended to do the profit and loss account, also the balance sheet. <BR>you will do fine,.

    I had a quick look at the past papers for the Intermediate level and can't say I was very enlightened. December doesn't seem nearly far enough away <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Still for now I'll just keep looking at my SOA and smiling feeling ready for anything.

    i thought there was only two exams FRA and ECR or something is unit 7 just a simulation >??>!!
