    Hi Staci<BR><BR>This is what I wrote for my portfolio. There's probably more you could say but this passed muster for me.<BR><BR><i>Financial accounting</i> provides a record of financial transactions that have taken place within a business. <i>Management accounting</i> involves using such figures to provide information on which to base management decisions for the future. For example, the recording of sales figures in the ledgers is financial accounting, the use of these figures to make sales forecasts is management accounting.<BR><BR>Hope this helps,<BR><BR>Chris
