Sam.

Congratulations on passing your exams.

Have your college submitted your results to the AAT?

You could always ring student services (number on here) and ask them.

Scott.

I think it's time people started naming and shaming the colleges that aren't coming up to scratch. While this is probably just an admin cock, up it is the college's responsibility to pass results of skills tests on to the AAT which they clearly haven't done. I can't imagine that his would affect your being able to start the Intermediate level but I can quite understand you worrying. All you can do is keep on at the college, the middle of August is probably not the best time to find anyone to talk to but just keep trying. You might want to check out the college's greivance procedures and if the college won't help put in a complaint to the AAT. There's a page about the AAT complaints procedure here</a>

Sam, even though your college havent submitted your simulations to the AAT you can still go on to start intermediate unless you are government funded (like me).

Chris.

    I am government funded.
I can see that this is going to be a problem for me.

The college, they have messed up so many times, they thretened to take me of the course due to health and safety at work with 4 lessons left for the course.
(My thought was that they were to sort out the safety of a workplace before putting me in it)

Ah well main priority is to get sorted for september, hope it goes ok and i can proceed

Fingers crossed for me please hehe x x x

    Hi sam

Know how you feel. I have the same problem. The AAT help desk have said that it is because the college have not submitted the results to them. But apparantly as soon as the AAT get the results they will send out another statement of achievement. But there is no one at my college to talk to

I am really confused : (

Colleen

(This is untrue)

Sounds like you really need to ask yourself if you want to return to this college in September?? I changed my college after completing my foundation level as I was not convinced they were doing the right thing by the students. I have to travel a bit further but I have just received my final technician results and have passed them all - I totally made the right decision.

If you do stay at the same college there is absolutely no reason why you should not start the intermediate in September - it is their screw up not yours.

Congratulations on passing your foundation and good luck for the futurex

So they didn't send any of your skills tests results through because one question wasn't answered and they failed to make sure that you knew about this. Even if they did leave a message on your phone this hardly seems an adequate attempt to let you know. In any case it should have been up to your tutor to make sure you'd fulfilled the unit requirements before signing it off. If I were you I'd put in a formal complaint to the college and inform the AAT. You might also want to mention which college you're studying at here

Time to kick some butt!
