when settlment discount is deducted on the face of the invoice when computing the total amount to be paid, is this true or false? And I need 5 good reasons for it!<BR><BR>i thought that any calculations / discounts have to be shown on the invoice, but I can not think of 5 reasons why!<BR><BR>Please somebody be so nice and help me... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> xx

    Not too sure about what the question whats but I would have thought you would want to show the discount, <BR>for the VAT and the Inland Revenue.<BR>Also as an incentive to get the customer to pay faster. Faster payment means less overdraft at the bank, also better cash flow through the system, more money means you can pay your creditors faster, makes the business look healthier<BR><BR>Is that the sort of thing you are looking for, other than that I am stumped.<BR><BR>Just some random thoughts<BR>Cheers<BR><BR>anne
