I dont work in accounts!!
None of the people on my course worked in accounts, amongst us we had a plumber, someone who worked in Sainsburys, a vetinary nurse and I work in IT. As far as I know, those who finished the course did fine. It can be hard going at times, but really it's not rocket science.

I really enjoyed doing the course and am looking forward to getting started on the Intermediate level in a week or so. Good luck.

Chris0 -
I dont work in accounts!!
I have just passed foundation and i am not in an accounts postion i intend to complete the whole course technical level in my current role as a administrator and then move on after. As long as you get the right support from your lecturers you will be fine!! I was lucky i have made a great bunch of friends and they all do work in accounts roles so they always give me a push in the right direction.

You just have to be confident that you can do it. My only bit of advice is if anything is to do nothing but practice papers near the time of your exam these helped me understand almost everything!!

Good Luck and you need anything else give me a shout!0 -
I dont work in accounts!!
Thanks for that - I was thinking of doing the same actually - getting the qualifications first and then moving on, unless something comes up! Start the course on Wednesday - can't wait!!!!0 -
I dont work in accounts!!
Hi,

I have been working in accounts for 2 years and am a financial accountant, but due to not having the qualification i don't get the wage of the accountant so i thought it was time i got my quals. I've just finished my foundation and i'll tell you something the stuff i learnt when doing the course was brilliant. I would say this is the best place to start as it helps you a great deal when you are starting up in accounts.

Good Luck!!!

Reena0
