In Intermediate which module is harder FRA or ECR?

    FRA or ECR

    This is a bit like "how long is a piece of string?"<BR><BR>It depends very much on the individual. My experience tells me that to begin with, lots of people find FRA easier, but by the end of the course, many have changed their minds!<BR><BR>However, I've spoken to colleagues in other parts of the country who say the reverse!<BR><BR>Basically, I'm not much help, am I?<BR><BR>If I had to generalise, I'd say that ECR is preferred by those who like problem solving, whilst FRA is preferred by those who like following rules. However, that is a generalisation. The best way to think is that both have to be passed!<BR><BR>If nothing else, this message should tell you one thing - we tutors don't have all the answers!<BR><BR>Sorry I can't help more!<BR><BR>Andrew Harrington

    Personally i found ECR much harder as i didnt use it in work. With FRA i was doing it every day at work so found it really easy to get to grips with.

    Thats true, I found ECR easier as I work in management accountant side of things so whichever 1 you do day to day will come easier to you, but at least you know which bit you will need to study more on once you start!<BR>By Christmas you will know where your problem areas are, its just waiting to get involved before you can identify them
