I studied AAT when I was 16, so 3 years ago. I'm thinking about getting back to college and doing the Technician course, but I've heard the standards have changed since I did it, so would this affect me at all doing the course?

I was just wondering what people who have done/doing the course thought.

Thankyou.

Think it only makes a difference if like myself, you started technician on the old standards then didnt get it finished in time so you have to re do some work on the new standards.

I imagine you would just start technician on the new standards. You may have to do the Health and Safety work again though.

    Getting back to AAT

Hi - I passed the Intermediate level in 1995/started on Technician Level Sept 1995 -passed all but 1 costing unit so gave up for a while - started Technician Level last September - have had to re-do the whole year plus a make up test on H & S - although I have been working for over 20 years and have never had a accident at work!! Doing it over 2 years - have just passed the costing papers and starting Financial Accts in about 45 mins - hope this helps and gook luck
