1 exam at Xmas but 4 in June!

Anyone else got this? Sorry I just need a moan and was wondering if anyone else's college was as great as mine!<BR><BR>I have DFS this Xmas and then 2 tax and the other 2 compulsorys in June. I asked them about why can't we have 2 this Xmas instead, but they can't get anyone to tutor the others before xmas. <BR><BR>I am going to be so stressed out next summer.

    oooh thats harsh !!!<BR><BR>We have 2 in Dec and then 3 in June. Maybe you should speak to somebody a little higher up in your college as I think that is completely unfair and putting far too much pressure on all of your June exams.

    So does that mean that you do tuition in September and don't have the exam til June? That's really bad!<BR><BR>Vickie, it's the person who is highest up that has said it. I mean I understand, if there's no tutors then there's no tutors, I'm just stressing about it. Although hearing about Littlemisstrouble's college then mine's not too bad.

    yeah we start in September those doing cash management and audit get those finished by the end of Dec but no central ones until June. <BR><BR>I don't mind too much as this time of year I am very busy at work where as it tends to be a bit quieter in June.

    So you have to do all the study after Christmas for those units too. That sounds like hard work.<BR><BR>I just did DFS, PEV, PCR in June having started studying for them in September and I found it quite tough going!

    Do bear in mind also that there are only about 11 weeks until the December exams, which are right at the very beginning of December rather than at Christmas. Once January comes you have about twice that length of time until the June exams - plenty of time to learn the stuff properly!<BR><BR>Andrew Harrington

    We are quite lucky, in some ways. Have 2 exams in December PCR and PTC then Cash Management and Credit Control simulation in February and then 2 more exams in June PEV and DFS. But have got to try and fit in the project before April (at least that a few months away.

    Yep I have that too, got PEV in Dec and the rest in June....NIGHTMARE!

    Mrs S - what planet is your college on - PCR and PEV overlap greatly - in fact dead difficult to separate out what will be in which exam, they are both costing - i think they are barmy - you should do PCR and PEV together (most people do) and then do the other two together.

    I agree we did PCR and PEV in June plus DFS, and BTC in Dec with Cash Management in the week after Christmas.<BR><BR>It was hard going with BTC starting in mid to late Sept and taking exam late Nov, in fact took my books on a two week holiday to the Maldives in the Oct, studied each Morning on my veranda.<BR><BR>

    God! Thats dedication for you.... revising on holiday. <BR><BR>I know what you mean about the two overlapping. Not sure why this is dont this way. Had my first lesson yesterday.... mind boggling stuff! Gotta go do some Qs tonight, see if I can get my head round it all!!! : /
