I have been studying for the aat for the past two years i started at foundation and started Technician yesterday.<BR><BR>I cant believe the amount of units there are to cover.... I am about to start my Unit 10 MAS project and really dont know where to start.<BR><BR>If any one has any ideas about the project or some advise on how to cope with the work load this year that would be great.<BR><BR><BR><BR>

    This site has guidance notes on the MAS project see under student resources.<BR><BR>Also I used The Osborne Book, which was a great help. I think the worst thing is what area to cover I used the Social Club Accounts where I work, and set it up for compuerisation, which has been extremely beneficial.<BR><BR>Good Luck<BR>

    You don't have to do technician in one year, there are a lot of people who cover it in two years.

    If you started at nine on a monday morning and worked all day and every day for that week you would have finished it. It really is a time consuming nightmare that if you don't finish by christmas you will be not have the time to finish until the summer hols.<BR>I have just got mine signed off this month as i ran out of spare time during the year with all the homework technician level brings.<BR><BR>If you are doing the castonbridge aat project the best place to start is the introduction summerise the company into one page. What has happened so far what the company consists of, what the mission statement of the company is etc.<BR><BR>From there move on to a summary of all the staff, job descriptions are they happy with their job are they efficient etc. That fills up about another 2 or 3 pages.<BR><BR>Step three is to write the main body of the report the analysis of the current situation etc.<BR><BR>Recomendations, what needs changing and why, how can the workforce be more efficient, productive etc<BR><BR>Then an implementation section what has happened since these changes were proposed.<BR><BR>Include a fraud matrix chart and an organisational chart and put in lots about fraud the aat love that.

    Very true. The college I attend, cover Technician over 4 terms - <BR><BR>Sept 05 to June 06 then<BR>Sept 06 to Dec 06<BR><BR>

    hi, I'm doing castonbridge as well, and I'm glad I saw this to help me. I have done introduction and stopped at main body of report. What books I can use to help me to analyse those problems in castonbridge and make recommendations for weakneses and what changes has to be done?
