Interview tests

Hi folks<BR><BR><BR>Does anybody know what kind of tests you have to sit for an interview at Assistant Accountant level. I have to do three tests this Friday and i dont know what to expect?<BR><BR><BR>Any advice would be much appreciated<BR><BR>Many thanks<BR><BR>Trace

    Hi Trace<BR><BR>When I went for a post as assistant accountant some time ago, I had to do a short excel excersise, answer accounting questions relating to depreciation, accruals & prepayments, and write a short report containing info on profitability, Liquidity and use of resources based on a set scenario. I found it quite daunting, but I got through it and got offered the job. <BR> Basically I would go prepared for carrying out tasks or answering questions related to the job they are expecting you to do if they were to offer it to you. They should be looking for a certain amount of knowledge but also how you approach set tasks and sometimes they look at how you manage your time.<BR><BR>Hope this helps, send a post to let us know how you get on.<BR><BR>Good Luck<BR>Krispi
