Hi all<BR><BR>I started studying Intermediate at college in September working towards FRA exam in December. Can anyone tell me what topics you are required to cover for FRA? We have covered extended TB, P&L accounts and Balance sheets inc. calculating Depreciation, Accruals&Prepayments and Bad Debts.<BR><BR>After looking through past papers, we seem to have only covered a small part of the paper. Is anyone else doing Intermediate at college and where are you up too?<BR><BR>Any advice would be appreciated<BR><BR>Thanks <BR><BR>Sinders<BR><BR>P.S. How do you register for the MSN Intermediate groups in order to download past papers?

Hi Sinders<BR><BR>I am a lecturer in further education for FRA unit<BR><BR>The other areas to be prepared for are:<BR><BR>Journal entries including increase and decrease to Provision for Bad Debts - make sure you know your debits from your credits on ledger accounts<BR>Partnerships accounting<BR>Incomplete records including calculations on mark up and profit margins<BR>Be prepared for questions (which seem to always come up) on SSAP 9 (closing stocks)<BR>Be prepared for SSAP5 - accounting for VAT and SSAP21 Leases and Hir Purchase (normally a memo question)<BR>On depreciation, ensure you can complete a disposal account<BR><BR>Good luck -0 -
