Does anyone know how our papers are market.
My worry is say for example you calculated Overhead Absorption Rate wrongly, do you get all your Overhead Variances wrong aswell even if what is making them wrong is the OAR which u have got wrong already.
I know in Mathematics they dont mark you wrong for the same mistake twice if the figure is used correctly the second time. Otherwise none of us would have passed A level Mathematics

Re:Marking Criteria
Hi
You should get marks for the calculation/formula even if the number you have used is wrong.

Re:Marking Criteria
Neil is right - you only get marked wrong once for an error - eg if you put £550 instead of £500 that is wrong - but if you carry the £550 right through the rest of your exam paper it is treated as correct - though i imagine it must p*** off the examiner having to carry through your figures!!!!!!!!!!0
