Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
Also, how do you set out a witness statement and what do you write and what do you write on a personal statement? Do personal statements have to be signed by someone like a witness statement?0 -
Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
Hi
If you have no evidence or are not allowed to use the evidence in your portfolio for a particular unit, you just write a statement saying you do 'this, this & this etc' then get your supervisior/manager to sign and date it, this then confirms you understand that particular area.0 -
Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
Also whats the website? I'd like to have a nosey as I'm currently doing those units.0 -
Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
Thanks. I wasn't sure if you still had to get your manager to sign each piece you write. I know they can write a whole witness statement and sign that to say that you have covered everything in the unit during your time in work.
Not sure what the website address is. I just clicked on his link in one of the discussion topics yesterday.0 -
Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
The site is www.tcaat.net - there's a copy of what I did for Units 22 and 23 in the download area. There's a few links that might be useful there too.
I've also just started on building a wiki for FAQs related to technical and practical aspects of studying for the AAT qualifications. At some point I'll get round to doing an entry about portfolio building - unless someone else wants to do it.

The portfolio building advice is on the MSN Groups site if anyone want to read it.. its under documents.

Re:Portfolio evidence to look at
Hi CJC
The link you've provided doesn't work - it tries to link to a webpage on the aat site. Also if you just try and go to www.tcaat.net , its just a holding page. Can you let me know what the correct link is?
Thanks in advance

Hmm..that's odd, I'll have to check my redirects. This should work OK http://cjcnet.net/tcaat/index.php

Just for the record, the links to my site:

should be working fine now. If you're still having problems let me know.
