Hello Everyone,
I am studying AAT Intermediate and I have just got my first job in accounts. How many hours studying should I do per week. Is it better to study in the evenings after work on the nights when I am not at college or should I do my private study on the weekends?
I am studying AAT at my local FE college in East London and I am looking for some study buddies. Is there anyone around the London area who would be interested?
Yours,
Jayne Hogan

Studying AAT Intermediate
Hi!

Firstly, congrtats on the new job!

Well I guess it all depends on you as an individual - you might find that you are shattered when you get home from work and just want to relax, especially if you are going to college some week nights too!

I work full time and am currently studying intermediate through BPP home study - I try and do most of my studying during the week and enjoy myself at the weekends, although I am busy revising all the time at the moment!

I also find that going into work an hour early and staying a few hours after and doing some work there helps as it is nice and quiet and you're not tempted to switch on the tv etc! Quite a few people I know do this.

I guess it's just trial and error and find out what suits you best!0 -
Studying AAT Intermediate
Hi Phukyphantom,
Thanks for the advice. I don't know about studying at work- I have a long journey home and I would rather get it out of the way as early as possible especially since it is now winter. Are you looking for a study partner?0 -
