BPP Mock Simulation 2004/5

Is anyone studying via home study with BPP? If so have you completed the mock simulation from last years pack ie 2004/05, for FRA?

I attempted this and after 3 hours had only managed to complete 2 of the 4 questions, which Im abit worried about.

Anyway on question 2 regarding the grocers, I calculated P+L firstly at approx £4k, which I later knocked down to about £190 profit!?

Any ideas if im at all close?

    I will have a look tonight and see if I kept a copy of my mock, I know my original is in my portfolio which is at BPP, I think the one I did was about a grocers. I wouldn't wory too much about the time it takes to complete, it took me about six hours and I managed to complete the actual in 2 and half hours. Good luck.

    I am not sure if this is the same simulation was the question for a company called Lord, if it was I had a net profit of £2348.00.

    Thanks for looking into that. It is the Lord question.

    I retried it again last night and ended up with a net profit of £2273. Am i right in assuming closing stock is valued at £1,210 following damages?

    You are right the closing stock is 1210.00. The other figures I have are

    Sales (21,100 + 9642) 30,742
    Purchase 16,657
    Closing Stock (1,210)
    (15,447)
    Gross Pofit 15,295

    Less Wages 7,020
    Electricity 112
    General 248
    Cleaning 728
    Rent 3,900
    Van 684
    Depreciation 255
    (12,947)
    Net Profit 2,348

    Thanks for all your help. This was the only question on the simulation I had difficulties with due to the wording of the question.

    Thanks for your help on that BPP question. I noticed my immediate mistake when comparing my answers and rectified.

    I have completed Part 2 (ie the last q) but I believe my adjustments are a bit iffy. Is it possible to let me know what adjustment figures you got?
