    I think a lot of people struggle with this and personally I found the PEV exam the hardest of all units. If you let us know which bits you need help with I'm sure someone will help you out. I have a couple of diagrams which helped a great deal while I was struggling. Our tutor told me there was no magic formulae to learning this subject you just have to understand it - no help at all but people on here are very helpful and supportive and these diagrams have helped a few people I think.

    By all means - will send them now.<BR><BR>They are not a magical solution - one is a logical diagram and the other is merely a prompt but combined they do guide you through. It is important to understand the theory and the reasons for preparing variances in case you have a paper like June 05 but you will see that you will be able to check your overhead variance answers quite easily by understanding the flow of the diagram.<BR><BR>

    Did actually reply to these messages a short while ago and my name is showing as the last post but can't for the life of me find my message.

    I have responded and replied to those of you asking for my diagrams. Sorry it has been so long and I realise it is cutting it very fine before your exams but difficulties experienced in logging in and posting messages has put me off visiting the site.

    I realise that loads of people have asked you for this but it would be a great help.

    I'm fine with the material and labour variances but get very confused on the overhead variances.
