You should definately take up teaching!! Your triangle working got me through section 1 of this mornings exam. What a brilliant way of remembering. I could've done with something to get me through the indices though, a sneaky part 3 eh. thought I'd finished sect 1 turned over and wham another question. Oh well all in all I think I did enough to scrape through. Much better than last June. Thanks again for your help.

Re:Calling birdseyeview
Hi Sue
Well done you! The credit is all yours all I did was provide you with a prompt that someone armed me with when I was struggling. Very pleased to have been of some help.
Take care and best wishes for the rest of your course.

Re:Calling birdseyeview
Hi Birdseyeview,
Can you possibly email me this triangle. I am not sure i did well enough on the variances to scrap through. I am not very good at learning formula. i found section 2 a lot easier than the first. Just keeping my fingers crossed I don't have to do it again with the other 3 in June.

Re:Calling birdseyeview
Hi Sue
I know you shouldn't count your chickens until they've hatched but I meant well done for remembering at such short notice and tackling it confidently - I find that is half the battle. I can't take all the credit for the pyramid diagram - as I say it was sent to me by a very kind person who spotted I was struggling and I simply added notes and watched for any other desperate pleas for help.
I finished in June so no exams for me at the moment but remember only too clearly what last year was like - you just get over one thing and then you're straight on preparing for the next one - or maybe that was just how our centre structured the course.
Anyway good luck with the rest. Are you doing a work-based project or the simulation? I know different centres guide in different directions - ours virtually insisted that if you weren't already in a managerial position you had no alternative but to do the simulation, as you were in no position to approach the people management side of things. Other centres seem to approach this section as if they were managing people which is a bit like a simulation in itself. Anyway it will soon all be over for you.
