Did anybody else get 20% for both MOS? I think I may have had a funny turn on that question.

    From memory - I didn't. The margin in units I had the same at 40000 Units for both - the margin as a percentage was 20% for the 1st one and around 16.6% for the second (because the 2nd one produced more units).

    Not sure if that's correct or not and the figures are from memory so might not be accurate.

    oh no! im worried i got 16.67% but then 25% for the other!! Did noone get that??

    Thanks for the response guys. Not what I wanted to hear but nevermind. I'm pretty confident about everything else so fingers crossed. I promised myself I wouldnt come on here as it worried me in June after the FRA. I walked out the exam room feeling confident but now that confidence is a little dented. Ah well, such is life.....onwards and upwards to the simulation!

    I came out of FRA last time thinking YES ive passed. Came on here, read others answers - got Totally different - My profit was different - the partnership accounts where so different and guess what - I passed.

    Dont worry about a thing - there is nothing you can do about it - and if you got the 1 or 2 answers wrong it doesnt mean you have failed.

    Well now I'm hoping my memories failing me...... but proves the point the more you analyse the more you start doubting...

    There is nothing any of us can do now anyway but I do wish they released the results sooner!!!

    the good thing is that you dont have to have the correct figures to pass !! but if you dont have the correct figures then you must show working out so you can indicate to the examiner that you know what your doing and if you did have the original correct figure and applied it to all your working out then you would get the correct answer.

    amanda when you say your answers were different do you mean that the figures where different but the format and workings out were right or do you mean that both werent correct ?


    so when is the exact date does anyone know ?

    oh and yes they did ask for 2dp (decimal places) so it would have been 16.67

    Hi Blank

    My answers where so much was different to others and the sugguested answers with the FRA exam in june but i passed. Im a strong believer that showing workings helps alot.

    I think i did the partnership account layout different to the sugguested answers and the profit was wrong - but what the heck - i still passed.

    If you show your workings then you gain points if your answer is wrong - if you write the working out and then slip on the calculator and your answer is wrong you still could be marked correct.

    There isnt anything anyone can do now - so chill out and worry on the day in February.
