    hi all can anyone tell me what they put for the under and over absorption question not sure if i got it right my head just went blank!!!

    Hi Tori,

    I didn't round the figure, i cannot remember the exact figures now but let's say:

    Total NBV: 1200000
    Total Machine Ins. cost : 22400

    Rate: 22400/1200000= 7/375. if you multiply this with the cost centre's cost, it will give you the correct figure....

    Just wanted to share my workings....

    yeah i had that and thought it looked wrong but spoke to loads of people and they had the same
