    Hi Amada,
    How did you find the paper? It looks like the AAT are beginning to test students on their knowledge now. The paper was a far cry from previous. And thank God i learnt from my mistake and try to practice questions from the workbook last night rather than the past papers. Surprise no 'MEMOS'. Looks like we have to demonstrate how well we know the subject area, hence the last question in Section 2.

    Hi

    I did FRA in June and I have done ECR this june.

    It seems that people are saying FRA was harder than Junes and ECR was easier than Junes. If thats so then its worked in my favour!

    The thing to do now is forget about the results, there is no point getting all stressed out and chewed up for 2 months.

    Well,
    to be honest the FRA was harder than the June paper. I did not pass the second section of that paper. So this time, I practised a lot of questions from the books and workbooks which are brilliant. So I found it less stressful. I finished in good time to check my work. I did make a few mistakes and my tb and bs did not balance. However, on the whole I found I cope with this better.
    maybe I am the only one.

    Good luck. I can't say relax because, I am really nervous days before exams. I get to the point were I feel sick at the thought of failing or comming across a question I cannot even half attempt. Just try and have a goodnight sleep. It does help when you sleep well. Or better still do what I did this morning before my exam- very loud music and dancing in my bedroom for about 10 mins. It did help.

    I think that perhaps the AAT is trying to make the transition from FRA to DFS smoother by getting students to consider the regulatory framework that governs how accounts are prepared.
