Hi folks!
Just posting my results for PCR. Plz can some of u confirm them?
Section 1
1.1 3500units & 2800 units
1.2 a) 43800kg ; b) 876000
1.3 a) 40000 +2000 overtime ; b) 258000
1.4 a) 588000 & 532000 ; b) 175/exe & 200/wye ; c) 52000 & 54000
1.5 a) 240 ; b) 57 ; c) 3417

    How did you remember them? I can't even remember the questions let alone answers I gave.....

    Same asnswers - Task 1.1 - 1.4b.

    I think i made a mistake on 1.4 c and totally messed up section2 as i had losses not profits. Can't see where i went wrong. What was the actual production? Was it 1200? and sales of 1000.

    It was about limited labour and materials. How many units could you produce fault free. I think i had 192 units with limited materials and 240 with limited labour.

    Agreed - 1.5 was incorrect.

    Shud have been 192 & 240

    I think I got the same for:

    1.1
    1.2a,b
    1.3a
    1.4b
    1.5a

    I don't remember or recognise the others but it might just be my memory.

    the 3360 was the fault free production total, then plus the new 192 from extra materials

    yes u all r right it was to be 192 for 1.5 b. i made a silly mistake.. just realised. thanks a lot for all ur replies.

    I thought that 3500 was the fault free production?

    I thought you had to show both fault-free and good production, so I just re-did the first question effectively and then added the good production aswell as added wastage. I guess I covered myself either way because it still would've showed the right answer. I never understand the point of that though, because everybody who took the exam was going to take there first answer and just add to the extra materials they just worked out. How could anybody get it wrong if they allow for following through errors?

    the 3500 was total production inculding faults

    i cant remember the exact question but i think it just stated the revised fault free total

    Oh - it looks as though I have completely misread the question - I assumed it meant useable products ie - total to produce.

    Oh well - June retakes - here I come!

    Can someone explain how you got 192 for 1.5b. Confused!! I had 57.

    The 3360 came from task 1.1 where you had to work out the production units at the very beginning which had the faulty goods in for Exe. Hope this helps

    Whichever the question that said they thought they could sell 220 more Exe's, with labour hours the only constraint, I had a maximum production of 100. I worked back on my answer several times and it was definately right.

    hey evry body, i wanna just every body will pass, its easy paper than past years.

    task 1.5 , simon is correct.

    3360 + 192 = 3552
    3360 is good production befor we did.

    HI,

    COULD YOU PLEASE CONFIRM THAT SECTION 1 ONLY HAD TASKS 1.1 TO 1.5, ONLY IT WAS A VERY SMALL SECTION COMPARED TO PREVIOUS PAPERS (NORMALLY 1.1 THEN 1.2) & I AM PARANOID NOW THINKING THAT I MISSED A FURTHER PAGE!!
